WHAT DO I THINK????
I absolutely love this foundation- Coverage is medium buildable which is perfect for me as I am not a fan of full coverage foundations. This foundation doesnt cake up or leave fine lines around my mouth like some foundations do. I have had compliments on my skin from family and friends saying my skin looks great and I look flawless,I was moved by the comments seriously but had already convinced myself I look amazing from the first day I wore it alone in the house lol

Although Lancome states that this is a 24hour foundation I cannot backup that claim as I never wear foundation for that long anyways who does? I  have worn this foundation without a primer and setting powder from 8am in the morning when I left the house to 10pm at night when I get back home now thus a total of 14hours and this foundation did not move. I have normal, combination skin with oily T-Zone I did not touch up my face,I never do anyway my makeup usually  stays in place all day!

PROS
*Long lasting
*Doesnt look like a mask
*Feels very light on the skin
*Looks natural
*Offers medium buildable coverage
* Can be used by all skin types
* Blends effortlessly
*Doesnt cake up
*Doesnt oxidize
*Variety of shades is phenomenal 18 released in the UK and 28 in the USA
*Doesnt clog pores
*Gives a velvety matte finish which is not powdery

CONS
*Has rose fragrance may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin
*May need primer&setting powder if you have oily skin
*Less shades released in the UK but Im not bothered as I found my perfect match shade

OVERALL
I love it so much to give it holy grail satus. It matches me perfectly and did not break me out. Love how its long lasting with no need for touch ups.Would recommend at least getting samples before commiting to a full bottle as what works for my skin may not work for yours

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial wash Review

Hello Lovelies!

How are you all???? Today I bring you of the Tea tree facial Wash Review from The Body shop. Have had it for 2months and I think its high time I put my 2cents in.

The Body shop says:
This daily use facial wash for blemished skin gives clearer-looking skin when used as part of a regular regime

Claims:
*Removes excess oils without over drying skin
*Help remove impurities
*Clinically proven to give clearer looking skin

Key Ingredients:
*Community Fair trade Organic tea tree oil
*Tamanu oil
*Lemon tea tree oil
*Menthol

MY THOUGHTS
I love the smell of tea tree oil which is somewhat medicinal and have long known the benefits of using it as an acne fighter. My skin was acting up towards the end of 2011 so whilst browsing through the body shop I was drawn to this product. I was afraid it would be too strong for my skin.irritate me and dry the skin but thankfullly it didnt. The first few days of using it I had a tingly burning sensation but with continued use my skin got used to it and the burning feeling stopped eventually.

This cleanser does not foam but I can assure you it delivers. It lathers up when mixed with water and after use my face feels deeply cleansed, smooth&brighter.

It does seem to clear blemishes and acne spots but you have to use it continuously to see great effects I guess. I have had little to no break outs at all since using this cleanser.

I really do like this cleanser, not only does it keep breakouts at bay but it helps control oil. I have normal/combination skin with oily T-Zone but since using it my T-zone is less oily.

I think this product will be great for those with combination, oily and acne prone skin

Where to buy and how much?
Can purchase from the body shop and it costs £4.50 for a 250ml. It will last you 2months or even more when used daily!

                                          HAVE YOU TRIED THIS
                              WHAT CLEANSER ARE YOU USING?

                                             Have a wonderful day Chicas

Nars Taos Blush VS Mac Ambering Rose Blush

Hello Sweeties!

This is a post to share a dupe that I found. I love finding cheap and great dupes but was less impressed when I realised that I had bought almost the same thing from high end brands.

I really love Nars Taos blush which is a gorgeous desert rose blush I also like the Mac Ambering rose which is also in the rose family. I prefer my Nars Taos as Mac Ambering rose comes out like shimmer on my skintone. I really have to build up Ambering Rose for it to show up or mix it with another blush. Overall I love this blushes but like I said I prefer Nars Taos as it shows up better on me and is more pigmented.

Here are a few comparison swatches!

MAC AMBERING ROSE ON THE RIGHT

Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation Review!

Hello Sweeties!

I have  fallen head over heels for Lancome foundations. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on their Teint Miracle foundation which is just amaze by the way.

When searching for foundation life usually gets complicated. Finding the right brand that makes the right shade, coverage, staying power and one that matches your skin type can be stressful.

I found love with Lancome Teint Miracle foundation beginning of 2012. I have never really bothered with their foundies as they didnt cater to women of colour but im so pleased that they now do. I love it so much that since getting the first sample I have pushed away my Nars sheer glow to the back of my makeup drawers no lie!

I prefer foundations that give light to medium coverage. Foundations that look natural and make your skin shine through. I love foundations that dont oxidise, feel heavy and cake up un me and Lancome Teint miracle is just that type for me.

Why do  I love it you may ask?
Teint Miracle is very light on the skin but will even your skintone giving you that flawless natural look. It will make your skin rook radiant. Texture wise its very hydrating as it has 40% water content. The lighter shades come with SPF15 whereas the darker shades for us woc have SPF apparently dark skin tends to look ashy with higher SPF. Comes in a nice glass bottle and a pump,it does looks classy on my dressing table

To get the best of this foundation I wouldnt set it with any powder as that will destroy the radiance/glowy part of it. I never set my foundations with powder anyway as I love glowy/dewy looks

Pros:
*Feels very light on the skin
*Gives a natural look
*Offers light to medium coverage
*Did not break me out
*Skin looks radiant
*Doesnt oxidize
*Doesnt clog pores
*Has SPF

Cons:
I dont really have nothing negative to say about this foundation except that people with very sensitive skin may react to the scent of roses that it has.
*If you have severe acne this will not cover all your spots as it offers light to medium coverage
May not suit people with sensitive or oily skin

Overall
I really do love this foundation its  texture&coverage is similar to my  Nars Sheer glow ,I would recommend getting samples if you love foundations that feel light on the skin and look natural whilst giving you a dewy/glowy look
* Probably suits people with dry, normal and combination skin

My Skin&Shade
I have normal combination skin which can be sensitive to fragranced foundation but luckily this was not the case with Teint Miracle.
Im between NC45-47 in mac foundations and  for a long time I have struggled to find foundation that match my yellow undertones as I tend to fall in between shades in  several brands.  In Lancome Teint Miracle Im shade Beige Praline #10 which matches me perfectly I guess.

Hope you found this review helpful
Whats your fave foundation at the moment????
